Shannon Ross is a very unique and loving individual. Her ability to take life’s experiences, mix
them with God’s love and faithfulness, and then form them into a song is truly
a gift from God.
We have had her at our church and there was only praise from our
people afterward.
I personally was ministered to by her performance at a women’s
retreat. To use the word “performance”
is not really the correct word for me to use because it wasn’t a
“performance”…. It was a life-changing,
faith-building experience. It touched
the very core of my being. One could
sense the Spirit of the Living God using her words and voice to touch all those
who were present.
Her songs speak to the broken, to the rejected, to the
abused. I believe that 2 Corinthians
1:3-7 truly describes Shannon’s ministry.

write this letter to commend to you B. Shannon Ross. She is a gifted singer/song-writer. She has a sweet spirit and a servant’s heart. She sings in a Christian folk style to the
accompaniment of her guitar or to background music. She is able to lead congregational singing with great joy and
a
delightfully endearing manner.
She
openly shares her struggles through her music and thus ministers to others in a
similar condition. I understand that
she is able to share the Word as well though I’ve never heard her speak because
the only time she has in our church is when I’m away!
I’ve
just recently become her pastor but have known her and her family for several
years now.
